This is shaping up to be a very fun game. It seems some of their best songs will be on it, including the chance to download more. There is a new system to allow multiple people to sing, allowing harmonies. The only point on contention I have is the fact that you can not download the songs to your Rock Band II set up, but seeing as I don't have a 360 or Rock Band II that's a moot point. Also, the story mode follows the Beatles from the Cavern Club in Liverpool all the way to the roof of Abbey Road studios with their final public performance before breaking up. Paul and Ringo have been working with the developers and a plethora of rare/never before seen images and videos are bonuses in the game.
The picture is from the recently revealed opening animation of the game which can be viewed here. It is a very surrealistic fantasy that starts in Liverpool following the Fab Four throughout some of their career before going into a fantasy that seems inspired by the same drugs the boys were on back in the 1960s, in a good way though. As my friend Joe Lee stated, "Someone deserves an award for this." And, as my friend Mike stated and my Mom, an avid Beatles fan that was around during the British Invasion, the only thing that would make the animation better would be that final chord from A Day In the Life.
